The person behind the system
Alex Parkin built his career in environments where the result is public, the deadline is immovable and every detail has to work together.
From theatre cues and live radio to commentary audio at the FIFA World Cup, the same pattern has shaped his approach: understand the entire system, prepare deeply, communicate clearly and stay composed when the moment arrives.
That range became the foundation for Orivion Holdings—a South African group designed to connect specialist creative, technical, digital and commercial capability around one accountable direction.
Selected credentials
Production experience across South Africa and international systems—built through real responsibility, technical range and delivery under pressure.
Sound, lighting, AV, projection, show operation and production leadership across live environments where preparation and timing are non-negotiable.
Technical and creative work across Matilda, Macbeth, Hairspray and Blast from the Past—building cues, soundscapes, lighting and production systems around the story.
Producer and broadcast technician experience spanning live radio production, studio workflows, outside broadcasts, guest audio and the discipline of delivering to air.
International technical support across sound, lighting, AV, projection and streaming—connecting creative requirements with dependable remote production systems.
Selected by Host Broadcast Services as a Broadcast Audio Engineer (A2), supporting commentary audio, communications and live broadcast workflows at New York New Jersey Stadium—including the Final.
Full-spectrum capability
Alex operates across the layers that usually sit in separate rooms. That makes him unusually effective at translating between an idea, the system required to deliver it and the company structure needed to make it repeatable.

The operating philosophy
The strongest decisions come from understanding how the creative, technical and commercial layers affect one another.
Pressure exposes preparation. Clear communication, disciplined checks and decisive action protect the result.
Orivion exists to turn multidisciplinary capability into a company system that can scale, compound and outlast any single project.
Why Orivion exists
Orivion is the next expression of Alex’s career: not a collection of disconnected services, but a group of specialist companies aligned by one standard. The ambition is global; the foundation is South African; the operating principle is simple—one brief, one accountable route.
